Why, hello, my darlings!
I was planning on taking a break until the new year, but I’m really feeling the Christmas spirit and I wanted to share with y’all a couple of ways to rock the red and green look the grown-up way. I’ve had a good amount of success nailing the tacky look, but this year I think I’ve figured it out and I’m sharing a couple of looks with y’all.
How to wear red and green | Casual
First up, we’ve got the super casual wear anywhere outfit. It’s great because you can dress it up with a blazer, heels, and sparkly jewelry or down with some cute flats and understated, everyday jewelry as pictured here.

How to wear red and green | Trendy
Next up, we’ve got something a bit sassier with faux leather leggings and tiered sleeves. Basically all things trendy. It’s totally festive, but the deep colors make the red and green totally tasteful and not at all tacky.
So there you have it! Basically, if you’re trying to dress for the holidays while keeping it classy, go with jewel tones or sophisticated pieces you’d wear anyway.
